Bandai Namco is set to launch its innovative take on the beloved arcade classic Pac-Man, titled Shadow Labyrinth, for the Nintendo Switch on July 18, 2025. Unveiled at The Game Awards 2024, this game immerses players in a haunting narrative centered around an amnesiac wanderer and the enigmatic character Puck as they traverse a shadowy maze filled with unusual creatures and perilous traps.
Exciting Gameplay Mechanics Unveiled

One of the standout features is called Gaia form, where the protagonist merges with Puck to become a formidable, monstrous entity. This transformation enables them to devour fallen enemies, allowing players to acquire useful items to aid in their escape.
Another key feature is Phase Shifting, which gives Puck the ability to morph into a recognizable Pac-Man shape. This transformation assists in overcoming challenging terrains that the main character may not be able to navigate alone, enhancing cooperation and strategy.
