S.gaming landscape. Notably, the Nintendo Switch 2 has reached stellar sales figures, while the surprising champion of premium game sales emerges as EA Sports College Football 26.

Nintendo Switch 2 Achieves New Sales Milestone

Following Nintendo’s latest quarterly update, which revealed that the Switch 2 has sold over 6 million units globally, it is now confirmed that the console has exceeded 2 million units sold in the United States alone. Impressively, the Nintendo Switch 2 was the top-selling hardware of July 2025, outpacing both dollar sales and total units sold. In fact, the new console is outperforming its predecessor by a remarkable 75% during the comparable launch period back in 2017.
