Super Mario Bros 3 Soundtrack Now Streaming on Nintendo Music
The beloved soundtrack from Super Mario Bros 3 has been added to the Nintendo Music app. To access this nostalgic collection, users need to hold an active Nintendo Switch Online account.
Track Details and Chiptune Classic
This updated selection features 42 tracks from the game’s original chiptune soundtrack, which lasts approximately 30 minutes. While many of the pieces consist of brief jingles, such as the iconic level clear tune, there is an option to extend certain tracks for a more fulfilling listening experience.
Curated Playlists Enhance Listening Experience
To refine the user experience, Nintendo has organized the soundtrack into succinct playlists, allowing fans to easily enjoy their favorite tunes. For instance, the Top Tracks playlist avoids the shorter jingles, focusing instead on the main level themes and world map music. Additionally, the Mushroom World playlist zeroes in on songs exclusive to in-game maps, enriching the overall nostalgia.
Ongoing Expansion of Nintendo Music App
Launched in October 2024, the Nintendo Music app provides subscribers with access to an extensive library of music from a variety of Nintendo titles. Initial offerings included soundtracks from popular games like Metroid Prime, Donkey Kong Country, and Splatoon 3. Since its debut, numerous soundtracks have been incorporated, including those from Pokemon Legends: Arceus and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. With the addition of Super Mario Bros 3, the service continues to evolve and cater to fans of all ages, featuring music from both classic NES games and contemporary titles that premiered on the Switch.
