Nintendo has recently released its financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. Notably, the company has confirmed the anticipated launches of two major titles: **Metroid Prime 4: Beyond** and **Pokemon Legends: Z-A**, both set for release in 2025.

Sales Performance Highlights

According to the latest financial statements, Nintendo reported a significant decline in overall sales, witnessing a 31.4% year-over-year (YoY) drop. For the first three quarters of FY2025, sales totaled ¥956.2 billion (approximately $6.19 billion), a stark contrast to the ¥1, 394.7 billion (around $9.038 billion) recorded in FY2024.

  • Super Mario Party Jamboree: 6.17 million units sold
  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: 5.38 million units sold

  • Nintendo Switch Sports: 2.63 million units sold
