Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tour: Acknowledges Ex Safaree’s Appearance in Miami with a “Leave Us Alone” Message

Nicki Minaj, the renowned music artist, has recently captured headlines during her much-awaited Pink Friday 2 Tour by appearing to address her ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, in a rather unexpected manner.

Following her concert in Miami on October 8, 2024, Minaj took to StationHead to mention a surprise visitor at her show. Although she never explicitly mentioned Safaree, her comments implied that continued disrespect would only amplify negative consequences, prompting her to ask for some peace.

“If you’ve been disrespecting Nicki and the Barbz, your karma is about to turn sour. For your own sake, please just leave us alone,”Minaj remarked.

Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels originally crossed paths in Queens, New York, back in 2000, igniting speculation about their relationship. By 2011, sources indicated that the bond was deteriorating, with Minaj reported to be frustrated with Samuels in public situations, as highlighted by Hot New Hip Hop.

The couple ultimately separated in 2014 after 14 years together, yet the reasons surrounding their split have never been publicly disclosed, leaving fans to ponder the details.

“Everyone knows how to go watch anything and keep it low-key”- Nicki Minaj seemingly takes a jab at Safaree Samuels

On the live stream via StationHead, Nicki Minaj elaborated on the events during her concert in Miami. Throughout the lengthy session, she seemingly directed jabs at her former partner, suggesting that achieving a state of peace can invite distractions and negativity. She urged fans to protect their joy.

“When you are in a peaceful place and genuinely happy, various elements may attempt to disrupt your joy or tranquility. Do not let them,”she advised.

Additionally, she pointed out the behavior of a satisfied individual, indicating that those who are genuinely happy tend to focus on their own lives, rather than intruding on others’ affairs.

“People who are unhappy go out of their way to create drama. In contrast, someone at peace minds their own business,”Minaj elaborated.

During her October 6, 2024, performance in Miami, Safaree Samuels was spotted recording himself, clearly enjoying the show, and made his presence known publicly.

In what seemed like a veiled reference to him, Nicki Minaj remarked that if she chose to attend an event subtly, she could easily do so “incognito,”emphasizing that those who wish to stay out of sight know how to achieve it.

“Everyone knows how to attend an event without being noticed. I’m a f**king superstar. If I wanted to go to a concert invisibly, I would know how to handle that. I’m not out there filming myself or making TikToks,”Minaj expressed.

Moreover, Nicki suggested she could counteract publicity stunts by employing reverse psychology techniques. She encouraged her Barbz Club to take a stand against such publicity games by unfollowing or blocking the individuals involved.

On the other hand, Safaree Samuels made a post on X on October 8, 2024, sharing that he had a fantastic time at the concert and expressed that everyone should be entitled to enjoy themselves. He also shared a YouTube video from his channel, showcasing memes and social media trends related to his visit to the Miami concert.

“I was beyond excited 😂 I’m not upset, folks. We’re all entitled to have fun. See you later,”Samuels posted on X.

Additionally, in a tweet later removed from X, Samuels expressed pride and a lack of negativity, although he didn’t directly reference Nicki Minaj. This tweet followed shortly after her concert.

Photos and videos capturing Safaree Samuels from Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tour, dressed in denim, became a viral sensation. Neither artist has publicly commented on their respective presence at the event.

The Pink Friday 2 World Tour kicked off on March 1, 2024, in Oakland, California, and is set to conclude in Elmont, New York, on October 11, 2024.
