Nicki Minaj blings out with fam while rocking $1m Richard Mille, $11k Chanel Coat & $6k phone holder at Knicks-Thunder game
On Sunday, Nicki Minaj attended the New York Knicks game against the OKC Thunder, following her sold-out “Pink World 2″world tour at Madison Square Garden. The 41-year-old rapper is known for her bold fashion choices, and her appearance at MSG was no exception.
The rapper effortlessly rocked a stylish yet comfortable outfit, pairing a Chanel t-shirt with Alaïa leggings while enjoying the sports event with her husband Kenneth Petty and their adorable 3-year-old son, affectionately known as “Papa Bear.”
The queen-native completed her ensemble with a Chanel mini phone holder bag, valued at $6,439 according to Buyma, and an oversized Chanel cotton tweed coat, priced at $11,950 according to the Chanel site. These pieces perfectly complemented her mix of high and low fashion.
Despite the attention-grabbing designer outfit, it was Nicki Minaj’s subtle choice of accessory that caught the eyes of eagle-eyed fans. The “Pink Friday 2″artist was seen wearing a top-of-the-line timepiece from boutique watchmaker Richard Mille, the RM 07-02 Pink Lady Sapphire.
According to MyWatchSite, this highly sought-after watch, created with women in mind, is valued at approximately $1,267,572.
At the same time, Nicki Minaj’s spouse donned a stylish all-black outfit consisting of a varsity jacket and a New York Yankees cap. Their child, Papa Bear, also embraced the fashion game by wearing a Gucci sweatshirt, dark jeans, and brand new Gucci sneakers.
Among the crowd occupying the front and center seats, Minaj was not the only celebrity spotted watching the Thunder narrowly defeat the Knicks 113-112. Other notable figures such as Bad Bunny, Latrell Sprewell, and Ben Stiller were also in attendance.
Rising NBA player considered for appearance in Nicki Minaj’s latest music video
Despite Nicki Minaj’s reported interest in having NBA star Paul George make a cameo in her music video, the 33-year-old had to turn down the opportunity.
During a recent episode of his podcast “Podcast P,”the nine-time All-Star made a surprising admission. He disclosed that he had been given an opportunity to collaborate with the “Anaconda”rapper on screen.
“You know what’s funny, this was maybe like a year or two ago, Nicki Minaj reached out for me to be in her music video,”the PG13 said.
The LA Clippers player jokingly remarked that his wife, Daniela, probably wouldn’t have approved of the cameo appearance.
“I looked at Daniela, Daniela looked at me. Ay, I ain’t going to be able to do it,”George said.
“She [Minaj] was excited about the opportunity too, but I declined. It was just a scheduling conflict that I couldn’t.”
If Paul George had accepted, he would have joined the esteemed group of NBA stars who have made notable appearances in music videos. This roster includes iconic figures such as Michael Jordan, who famously danced with Michael Jackson in “Jam,”and Kobe Bryant, who made an appearance in Destiny’s Child’s chart-topping single “Bug-A-Boo.”
