Nick Cannon’s Age Revealed: The Masked Singer Host Recalls Attending Diddy’s Parties as a Teen
Following Sean “Diddy”Combs’ arrest on September 16, 2024, his purported “freak offs” have dominated headlines. Numerous celebrities have weighed in on the controversial gatherings, but Nick Cannon made headlines himself by recounting an occasion when he was just 16 and invited to one of Diddy’s parties.
Now 44, Cannon shared his memories during an appearance on The Breakfast Club on October 11, 2024:
“I’ve even been at one when I was a kid, like 16, 17. I remember standing outside, attempting to get into a Puff party here in New York.”
While Cannon described the difficulty of gaining access to Diddy’s events, he clarified that the gathering he attended was not a “freak off” but rather a typical celebration where he engaged in dancing with guests.
He drew a parallel between the party and the Notorious B.I.G’s iconic 1995 track, One More Chance, stating:
“Bad Boy parties were legendary in New York during the late ’90s. People often hesitate to speak up because they probably have something to conceal. I was in there doing the Harlem shake and all that.”
Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, was detained roughly a month ago in New York after being indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges, including s*x trafficking, racketeering, and fraud.
This arrest followed a series of raids on his properties nationwide, during which investigators discovered numerous questionable items, including large quantities of lubricant and baby oil.
Exploration of Diddy’s Parties: Nick Cannon Shares His Experiences
Well before the recent attention on Diddy’s alleged s*x parties, Cannon had discussed attending them back in July on the One Night With Steiny podcast. At that time, he remarked:
“I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs. I’ve never been drunk in my life. I’ve been to all of the parties, DJ’ed at them, everything. I’ve never witnessed anything wild. I feel like they might conceal that stuff from me.”
It is important to note that the term “freak offs” appeared numerous times in the 14-page indictment against Combs. According to a report by Parade, the phrase was cited 27 times in the document, which was filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
The indictment revealed that the alleged “freak offs” involved considerable drug use and alcohol, as well as activities linked to prostitu*ion.
A press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office stated:
“Among other things, COMBS’s s*xual abuse of women included requiring them to participate in frequent, multiday s*xual encounters with male commercial s*x workers, some of whom were transported across state lines. These events, referred to by COMBS as ‘Freak Offs,’ were extravagant s*xual performances that COMBS arranged, directed, and often electronically documented.”
As news of Diddy’s alleged “freak offs” circulates across social media, the rapper and his legal team have fervently denied all accusations. Meanwhile, Combs remains in custody, even after submitting multiple bail requests that have been denied by the court.
