NFL analyst demolishes Buffalo Bills for treatment of Josh Allen with Stefon Diggs trade

Despite Texans fans celebrating the recent separation of Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, Bills fans are feeling despair. According to NFL analyst Mike Greenberg on Thursday’s episode of “Get Up,”the absence of Diggs may spell doom for Allen.

“This has become a complete disaster,”Greenberg said. “November will roll around, the Jets or someone else will be winning that division. Buffalo will be having a disappointing season and do you know what the conversation will be…?”

“‘What’s wrong with Josh Allen? Oh Josh Allen, he’s terrible now. Look, he’s supposed to be a top-level quarterback and we can’t even win games.’. .. It’s like they just keep taking things away from him expecting more from him,”Greenberg said.

During his outburst, Greenberg also brought up the fact that the Bills had parted ways with key starters for the 2023 season, such as Tredavious White, Jordan Poyer, and Leonard Floyd. Additionally, the loss of Gabe Davis has essentially resulted in a reset of both the secondary on defense and the pass-catching unit on offense.

In addition to potentially parting ways with Josh Allen or Sean McDermott, the team seems to be utilizing all available strategies to reconstruct the roster from within.

If this proves to be true, 2024 could be seen as a year of rebuilding, as the incoming rookie class fills the empty positions. By the beginning of 2025, if all goes as intended, Allen will lead a younger and revitalized team.

Despite the Chiefs’ efforts to rebuild their offense and defense around a veteran star quarterback, they are learning that this does not guarantee an immediate improvement in their offense.

If even the trio of Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid and Travis Kelce struggle to reach their full potential, Bills fans should remain calm and practice patience beyond the year 2024.

Even though Allen is still in his 20s, he has enough time to allow his team to build a strong roster. The main concern is whether his fans will have the same level of patience. If not, both fans and experts may start pressuring the front office to replace one of the key players on the team.
