NEXZ, JYP Entertainment’s New Group, Releases Short Film for Upcoming NALLINA Comeback

The film showcases the members engaging in various mundane activities, from scrolling through TikTok and snapping selfies to dancing and searching Google for ways to alleviate their boredom. The dull routine of life soon gets upstaged by an infectious beat that signals the onset of their musical comeback, ultimately revealing the official date along with the album title.
NEXZ Unveils the Tracklist for NALLINA
On October 30, 2024, NEXZ unveiled the tracklist for their highly anticipated first mini-album, NALLINA, via their official X account. The list comprises six intriguing tracks:

Additionally, the group has released captivating individual and group teaser images that emphasize the album’s concept, showcasing striking outfits and expressions. A prologue video was also released on October 28, 2024, further exciting fans ahead of the album launch.
About NEXZ: The Future of K-Pop
For those unfamiliar, NEXZ was formed through the acclaimed survival program Nizi Project 2, a collaboration between JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Labels. They made their debut on May 20, 2024, with the single album Ride the Vibe, featuring two standout tracks: “Ride the Vibe”and “Starlight.”
The group consists of seven talented members: Yu, Tomoya, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki. Following their successful debut, they released a Japanese extended play, Ride the Vibe (Japanese Version), also known as Keep on Moving, on August 21, 2024, after a pre-release on July 5, 2024.
Commercial Endeavors and Media Appearances
NEXZ gained notable popularity as they starred in their first television commercial for Aquarius, a sports drink brand owned by an American company. This advertisement prominently featured the group’s original Japanese track, “Keep on Moving,”written and produced by J.Y.P. Their influence extends beyond music as they have graced the covers of fashion magazines such as NYLON Japan in August 2024 and Spur in September 2024.
The name “NEXZ”symbolizes a fusion of “next generation”and “generation Z,”reflecting their mission to pave the way for a new era of youth.
