New Toxic Flower in Minecraft Threatens Adorable Mob

The world of Minecraft is teeming with diverse items, and Mojang Studios continually strives to enhance this virtual landscape with new additions. One of the latest introductions is a unique flower known as eyeblossoms, which can be found in the Pale Garden biome. This intriguing flower adds a vibrant touch to the otherwise muted surroundings, making the new biome even more enticing to explore. However, there is a significant drawback associated with this flower.

Eyeblossoms offer multiple benefits, such as beautifying the dull and colorless visuals of the Pale Garden biome. Nevertheless, they pose a danger to the game’s charming bee mob. Below, we explore all the crucial details about eyeblossom flowers and why it’s best to avoid setting up bee farms in their vicinity.

The Threat of Eyeblossoms to Bees in Minecraft

The name “eyeblossom”reflects the flower’s distinctive appearance. It exists in two forms: open and closed. During daylight, the flower remains shut, hiding its vibrant orange hue. However, at night, it blooms, revealing a glowing, eye-like visage reminiscent of the eerie eyes of the Creaking mob.

Mojang Studios, in their latest blog announcement, noted that these flowers are harmful to bees. While it is possible to plant eyeblossoms in different biomes, it is essential to keep them distant from bee farms. Positioning these flowers close to bee habitats is strongly discouraged.

When bees come into contact with eyeblossoms, they become poisoned, leading to their eventual demise. In addition to this poisonous effect, eyeblossoms can also be utilized for dye production. Using the closed flower yields a gray dye, while the open flower produces an orange dye.

These flowers can also be used to concoct suspicious stews that inflict effects such as Blindness and Nausea. Another recent addition to the game is resin, inspired by the toxic resin featured in the April Fool’s update earlier this year. Players can collect resin clumps by destroying the Creaking Heart found in the Pale Garden biome.

As developers focus on enriching the Pale Garden biome, it’s evident they are providing more compelling reasons to explore it. Resin clumps can be processed in a furnace to create resin bricks, which can be used for various construction projects, including walls, slabs, and stairs. These bricks exhibit a bright orange glow, closely resembling the style of blocks seen in Super Mario Bros. As these features are still in development, players can anticipate future adjustments and enhancements.
