Exciting Additions to Xbox Game Pass for September 2025

Xbox has officially revealed the newest titles set to join Xbox Game Pass in the latter half of September 2025. Following a robust lineup in the first half, gamers can look forward to several exciting indie games, including Hades and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, as they are added to the subscription service today.

Returning Favorites and New Adventures

Hades makes a timely return to the platform, just ahead of the highly anticipated launch of Hades II, which is slated for its full release on September 25. This allows both new players and loyal fans a chance to revisit the original game before stepping into the sequel, a significant milestone for developers Supergiant Games.

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is another noteworthy addition, marking a spin-off from the beloved Deep Rock Galactic. Published by Ghost Ship’s publishing arm and developed by Funday Games, this auto-shooter also emerges from early access this month. What’s more, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, increasing accessibility for subscribers.

September’s Game Lineup

The rest of September is packed with a variety of titles sure to attract diverse gaming preferences. Noteworthy releases include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Frostpunk 2, Visions of Mana, and Sworn. Additionally, Endless Legends II will debut in game preview mode exclusively for PC gamers.

Games Departing Xbox Game Pass

As is customary with updates to Xbox Game Pass, several titles will be leaving the service at the end of the month. Notably, multiple Ninja Gaiden titles—including Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge—along with Terra Invicta will no longer be available as of September 30, 2025. Players are encouraged to check out these classics before they are removed from the library.
