In an exciting revelation, Niantic has confirmed that Shroodle and its evolved form, Grafaiai, will make their inaugural appearance in Pokémon GO as part of the upcoming Fashion Week: Taken Over event, commencing on January 15. Alongside the new Pokémon, several bonus features and raid opportunities will be offered to players.
New Additions and Features in Pokémon GO
Shroodle is a Poison/Normal-type Pokémon introduced alongside Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Recognizable by its oversized head and prominent eyes, Shroodle evolves into Grafaiai at level 28. Grafaiai resembles a small, lemur-like primate, characterized by large eyes and uniquely sized three-fingered hands. Both characters have begun making cameo appearances in recent episodes of Pokémon Horizons.
Event Highlights
The Fashion Week: Taken Over event will run from January 15 at 12 AM to January 19 at 8 PM local time. During this period, players can hatch Shroodle from 12 km eggs and evolve it into Grafaiai using 50 Shroodle candy. Additionally, members of Team GO Rocket will increase in frequency at PokéStops and within balloons. Trainers will also have the unique opportunity to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk by taking snapshots during the event.

This event promises a wealth of engaging activities for Pokémon GO enthusiasts. Players will have the chance to unlock a new Special Research task to save Shadow Palkia, while a plethora of Shadow Pokémon will become available during the event. For the first time, Remote Raid Passes can also be utilized in Shadow Raids, providing greater flexibility for trainers.
Following this event, the arrival of the Corviknight evolutionary line is slated for January 21. Additionally, an upcoming Shadow Raid Day will introduce more thrilling challenges, alongside a Classic Community Day featuring Ralts, scheduled for January 25.
