Exciting New Figures from NieR: Automata Unveiled at Wonder Festival 2025
At the recently held Wonder Festival 2025 Winter, Good Smile Company showcased two highly anticipated figures of A2 from the popular game NieR: Automata. These figures include a meticulously crafted scale model and a versatile figma, both presented at the painted prototype stage. This suggests that pre-orders could be on the horizon in the coming weeks. It remains to be seen whether these figures draw inspiration solely from the original game or if they incorporate elements from the anime adaptation.
Design and Features of the A2 Figures
The figures feature A2 wielding her signature Type-4O Sword. The scale figure captures her in an action pose, striking as if mid-attack. In contrast, the figma presents her holding the sword at her side, showcasing a more relaxed stance. The scale figure is designed as a static display without any additional components, emphasizing its elegant pose. Conversely, the figma offers extensive articulation, allowing for dynamic postures and showcasing artisanal flexibility with moving parts at the ankles, knees, hips, waist, torso, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and neck. Additionally, the figma will feature interchangeable face plates, although it remains unclear if an alternate hairstyle will be included.

Future Releases and Expanding the Collection
These two A2 figures are just the beginning. A 1/4 scale figure featuring A2 in her “Cruel Arrogance”outfit is set to launch later in 2025. Additionally, the beloved figma line already includes a figure of 2B, further expanding the collection of NieR: Automata characters available to fans and collectors alike.

As for the release dates of these A2 figures, there is currently no confirmed timeline.NieR: Automata is accessible across multiple platforms, including PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Fans can also enjoy the anime adaptation, available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
