New Minecraft Bedrock Beta Update: Exciting Reasons to Target Creaking

Mojang has recently introduced a range of exciting features in the latest Minecraft Bedrock beta/preview version 1.21.50.25, particularly focusing on the new Pale Garden biome and the Creaking mob. Among these additions, the introduction of resin clumps and resin blocks stands out. These elements not only enrich the Pale Garden biome but also establish a unique connection with the Creaking mob.

Let’s explore how the addition of these resin items and blocks has created new dynamics for interacting with the Creaking mob and the Pale Gardens, especially during nighttime.

Previously, the Creaking was merely known as a nocturnal predator, lurking and attacking players who failed to keep it in their line of sight. Even attempts to defeat it by targeting its heart block, hidden within pale oak trees, yielded minimal rewards.

With the implementation of version 1.21.50.25, players can now encounter new resin clumps and resin blocks directly associated with the Creaking mob.

This mob does not sustain damage when hit; instead, it captures energy from its heart block embedded in the surrounding trees. Players will notice a flow of particles connecting the Creaking to its heart block when engaged.

In the newest beta/preview update, engaging with the Creaking causes resin to materialize around its heart, specifically on the adjacent pale oak logs. The more players interact with this three-eyed creature, the greater the accumulation of resin clumps surrounding the Creaking’s heart. These clumps appear as small orange drops on the pale oak wood.

The introduction of these resin items offers players a compelling incentive to attack the Creaking to collect the valuable resin.

Once resin clumps appear on the pale oak trees, players can gather them through simple breaks using any tool, including their hands. These clumps can then be combined to form resin blocks or smelted to produce resin bricks.

Furthermore, resin bricks can be crafted into an array of items such as stairs, walls, and chiseled resin bricks, expanding the crafting possibilities.
