Overview of Upcoming LEGO Game by TT Games
- Reports indicate that TT Games is developing a new LEGO game, which is close to completion.
- This unannounced title is expected to launch by 2026.
- TT Games has experienced a significant slowdown in production since the pandemic, stemming from multiple industry-wide factors and internal shifts.
According to industry insider Jason Schreier, a new LEGO game is currently in the pipeline at TT Games, with expectations for a release as early as 2026. This forthcoming project will mark the studio’s first new release in several years.
Since its founding in 2005, TT Games has developed a diverse library of 37 LEGO titles. The latest addition to their impressive roster is LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which received critical acclaim upon its release for PC and consoles in April 2022.
During a recent appearance on the Kinda Funny Gamescast, Schreier addressed a viewer question about the state of TT Games, suggesting that the new LEGO game may arrive sooner than anticipated. He mentioned, “I believe it’s for next year, ”although he later speculated that a 2025 release may be more accurate. Ultimately, he reaffirmed that a 2026 timeline feels reasonable based on his insights.
In a broader context, Schreier previously highlighted TT Games’ next project on February 7, touching upon various challenges faced by WB Games, including the cancellation of Monolith Productions’ Wonder Woman game following the studio’s closure. However, this latest discussion marks the first occasion where a specific release window for the unannounced LEGO project was implied.

Factors Behind the Decline in TT Games’ Production
Since its inception, TT Games has been known for its prolific output, averaging more than 1.5 releases annually. However, the past few years, particularly since 2019, have seen a marked reduction in their game launches, with only one title released in over five years. This decline can be linked to various factors, including prolonged game development cycles that have become more common post-pandemic.

TT Games has faced additional challenges due to the departure of key personnel in 2021, including the studio’s founder, Jon Burton, and head of design, Arthur Parsons. Both went on to establish 10:10 Games, which launched its first title, Funko Fusion, in 2024. According to insights from LinkedIn examined by Game Rant, a total of 24 TT Games team members—roughly 6% of the company’s workforce—transitioned to 10:10 Games, predominantly representing senior talent. Such attrition can significantly disrupt ongoing projects and affect a developer’s ability to deliver new content.
