Nearly a year after the launch of Game Hubs for Xbox on PC, Microsoft has introduced a revamped version in its Xbox Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings. This new feature aims to enhance user experience by prioritizing swift access, with the Play button set as the default focus upon opening a game hub.

What to Expect from Game Hubs

When users access a game hub, they can expect to find an array of useful information, including but not limited to:

  • Player statistics
  • Achievements
  • Friends currently playing the game
  • Recent game captures
  • Available add-ons
  • Upcoming events and more

Availability and Update Details

This new Game Hubs feature is accessible exclusively to Xbox Insiders within the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings. Users can expect this update through build 2504.250320-2200, which brings the OS version to XB_FLT_2504GE\26100.3996.250320-2200 post-update.

Eligibility for the Update

For those on the latest update who cannot access Game Hubs, it may be due to not being selected for the initial testing phase. Microsoft has chosen a limited group of users to identify any potential issues, and a broader rollout may occur following this phase.

  • Resolved an issue where the Share option icon was missing in the context menu for sharing captures via the Xbox network in the Captures app.

  • Corrected an issue affecting ranking displays on the game stats leaderboard, which previously caused the highlight focus to display improperly.
