Second Closed Beta Test Insights

This marks the second Closed Beta Test for Where Winds Meet, following the inaugural test conducted nearly a year ago. In a prior exclusive interview with Everstone, we delved into some intriguing aspects of the game, including:

World Size and Exploration

The current vision for the game’s initial version covers a playable area exceeding 20 square kilometers (5K x 5K), with continuous adjustments being made based on content needs. The game features a dynamic 3D environment that includes underground areas and varying altitudes. The first iteration will introduce players to significant locales such as Bianjing City, expansive wilderness, and several smaller towns.

Game Modes and Mechanics

Players can engage in both single-player and multiplayer modes, which operate independently, allowing individuals to choose their preferred style of play. In multiplayer mode, interactive environments enhance cooperative gameplay. For instance, if a player experiences a qigong deviation or a debuff, other players can step in as physicians to offer assistance. Additionally, events such as meteorite showers, which were showcased in the game trailer, will innovatively alter the gameplay landscape, prompting players to respond collectively to evolving challenges.

With these engaging features and rich world-building elements, Where Winds Meet is poised to captivate gamers when it officially launches.
