While the storytelling in Blue Lock season two was commendable, the animation quality left much to be desired. Many viewers expressed disappointment, comparing certain episodes to a mere slideshow of still images. However, standout moments showcased exceptional animation, particularly in the finale that featured thrilling sequences.

This inconsistency has frustrated audiences, leading them to question the capabilities of the animation studio, Eight Bit, in producing uniform quality across episodes. Subpar animation during critical moments detracted from the series’ strengths. Although a third season has yet to be announced, fans remain hopeful that the studio addresses the issues seen in season two.

As no confirmation for a third season exists at this time, it may be several months before updates are available for eager fans.
