  • Black Kyurem: Freeze Shock paralyzes Pokémon in encounters.

According to a leak from Pokeminers, Pokémon GO is expected to add two powerful Adventure Effects: “Ice Burn”for White Kyurem and “Freeze Shock”for Black Kyurem. Players can activate these effects during Pokémon encounters, enhancing their catching strategy. Ice Burn will temporarily slow the target ring, simplifying the challenge of achieving Great or Excellent throws. In contrast, Freeze Shock will immobilize the targeted Pokémon, preventing them from evading Pokéballs—making it a strategic advantage for players trying to capture elusive species.

Additionally, the leak hints at a new item, the “Lucky Trinket.”This special item permits players to instantly become Lucky Friends with another user, provided they are already Great Friends or higher. Though the effect is transient and lasts only a few hours, this tool could be invaluable for players seeking to enhance their trade strategies, as reaching Lucky Friends status is typically a rare occurrence in Pokémon GO.

While the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event approaches, players won’t want to miss out on another exciting release: Corviknight’s evolution line will be available during the Steely Resolve event starting January 21. This event will also feature Deoxys and Dialga in five-star Raids. Furthermore, from January 20 to February 3, Pokémon GO players can partake in Dynamax versions of the Legendary Bird Trio, creating a plethora of opportunities for thrilling gameplay.
