In an exciting development today, Arc Games and Snapshot Games—famed for their work on Phoenix Point—have unveiled a fresh title from the mind of XCOM creator Julian Gollop. This new game, titled Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids, blends action and strategy in a captivating third-person format, set within a vibrant, comic book-inspired universe.

Gameplay Dynamics

Players will assume the roles of the heroic Chip or Clawz (or both in cooperative gameplay) to thwart a Brainioid invasion. Throughout the game, participants will collect resources, build bases, enhance hero abilities, and command minions in exhilarating large-scale battles. The narrative-driven campaign features multiple difficulty levels to cater to varying player preferences and includes fast-paced, accessible missions that modernize traditional strategy games. Additionally, epic boss battles against formidable Brainioids promise to add further excitement to the experience.

The game will be playable on PC in just four days during the upcoming Steam Next Fest. The demo promises to deliver an action-packed preview of Chip ‘n Clawz, featuring local and online campaign co-op, PvP multiplayer support, four mission levels, two challenge levels, and two PvP maps, along with an array of weapons, mods, collectibles, and base-building options for players to explore.
