
NAPS2 is a user-friendly document scanning application designed to simplify the scanning process. Additionally, NAPS2 generates fully text-searchable PDF files, which can be seamlessly integrated and indexed within document management systems. The application is widely accessible, currently supporting 40 different languages.

- Introduced an “Edit with”option in the Image menu to utilize external image editors.
- Added a “Share even when NAPS2 is closed”feature for Scanner Sharing, which includes showing a system tray icon and restarting on login.
- Imported file names are now set as the default file name upon saving.
- Ensured the “Apply to all selected”checkbox remains checked after use.
- Increased the maximum device search time from 5 seconds to 60 seconds for improved user experience.
- Scanner IP addresses are now cached to enhance speed and reliability during scanning.
- Added an arm64 installer for Windows users.
