In an era where budget and mid-range GPUs rarely feature single-fan cooling solutions due to demanding thermal performance standards, MSI is challenging the norm. The company has introduced the GeForce RTX 5060 8G INSPIRE ITX, equipped with a single-fan cooler that merges functionality and minimalism. The new GPU measures an astounding 145mm in length and 120mm in height, showcasing MSI’s commitment to providing space-efficient graphics solutions.

Originally launched in 2009, the CYCLONE series had been dormant for some time but recently resurfaced with the GeForce RTX 4060 CYCLONE. Now, MSI has extended this design language to the RTX 5060 8G CYCLONE OC, differentiating it with an exposed heatsink, a centrally located fan, and dual copper heat pipes flanking the sides. This GPU is slightly larger, measuring 161mm in length and 125mm in height, making it a good fit for ITX cases.

Performance-wise, the RTX 5060 8G CYCLONE OC version delivers impressive clock speeds of up to 2527 MHz boost and 2535 MHz in Extreme Performance mode via the MSI Center application. In comparison, the RTX 5060 8G INSPIRE ITX achieves up to 2497 MHz and 2512 MHz in its respective performance modes.
