MSI is poised to enhance its white AM5 motherboard selection with the introduction of two innovative models: the MPG X870I Edge TI EVO and the MAG X870E Tomahawk MAX PZ. These additions reflect the growing demand for AMD Ryzen CPUs and their ecosystem.

During Computex 2025, MSI showcased a range of motherboards designed for the AM5 socket, featuring chipsets such as X870E, X870, and B850. Among these, the B850MPOWER stood out, demonstrating commendable overclocking capabilities at an affordable price point. One of the standout models is the MPG X870I EDGE TI EVO WIFI, a Mini-ITX motherboard equipped with the AM5 socket. This compact form factor features a single 8-pin CPU power connector and an advanced VRM cooling solution employing an active cooler placed on top of an aluminum heatsink. The motherboard supports up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory across two slots, with a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot designed for expansion cards.

This motherboard is equipped with four DIMM slots that support DDR5 memory speeds exceeding 8000 MT/s and a total capacity of up to 256 GB. It features three PCIe x16 slots, with the top slot delivering a full Gen5 performance. In terms of storage, four M.2 slots are available, each protected by expansive white heatsinks.
