NVIDIA’s collaboration with MSI has led to the announcement of the highly anticipated GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, with the official launch date now confirmed.
MSI France Announces Launch of GeForce RTX 5070 Ti in Just 10 Days
There have been multiple leaks regarding the launch timeline of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, and MSI has now validated these rumors. According to their website, the GPU is set to debut on February 20, marking a significant moment for gamers and tech enthusiasts alike.
MSI’s French store features a countdown to the upcoming launch, indicating that the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti will become available in approximately 10 days. While product listings are not yet visible, the URL confirms the presence of the ‘GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, ’ suggesting that additional details and models may be revealed soon.

Recently, popular French retailer Topachat further substantiated the launch date when it featured the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio OC edition, implying that MSI is ready and may have even dispatched the GPUs to distributors and retailers in anticipation of the official release.
Replacing the RTX 4070 Ti, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti will utilize the GB203 cut-down die. NVIDIA initially showcased this new offering at CES, scheduling its launch after the more powerful RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, which were released on January 30. The starting price for the Founders Edition is set at $749, though custom variants, particularly higher-end models, are likely to be priced higher.

This new GPU features 8960 CUDA Cores, 16 GB of GDDR7 VRAM on a 256-bit memory interface, and a thermal design power (TDP) of 300W. Up until its official launch, further performance metrics will be disclosed, helping consumers assess its capabilities in comparison with its predecessors. Initial expectations suggest that the RTX 5070 Ti may rival the performance of the RTX 4080 Super, especially with the RTX 5080 proving only 10-15% faster.
In direct competition, AMD is also gearing up to launch its Radeon RX 9070 XT, aimed at challenging the performance metrics of the RTX 5070 Ti. Reports indicate that AMD is adopting a competitive pricing strategy for the RX 9070 GPUs, which might pose a challenge for NVIDIA, especially if the new RDNA 4 architecture offers enhanced value for consumers.
