MPL Malaysia Season 14 Week 3 Recap: Key Highlights from the Second Last Week of the Regular Season
During Week 3 of MPL Malaysia Season 14, the league frontrunners capitalized on matchups against mid-table teams to solidify their standings. Noteworthy performances included victories by teams such as Selangor Red Giants, Monster Vicious, and Team Vamos against RED Esports, Team Rey, and TODAK, respectively.
The Selangor Red Giants showcased their consistency by sweeping RED Esports on the opening day of Week 3.
Team Vamos continued to apply pressure on the Red Giants at the top of the table, achieving a significant win against three-time MPL champions TODAK with a score of 2-1 in their opening match of the week.
Despite their robust roster of 10 players, TODAK, a renowned MLBB pro team, struggled to deliver their best performance during the season.
Even though teams like RED Esports, TODAK, and Team Rey faced tough competition from the strongest squads in the league, they managed to retain their mid-table positions with victories against other teams during Week 3.
A major upset occurred when RED Esports defeated JP NINERS, who were holding fourth place, on the third day of Week 3, allowing them to secure the sixth position on the table.
