Following the launch of new Motorola G-series smartphones last week, Motorola is reportedly now preparing to launch two high-end models known as the Edge S30 and Edge X in the Chinese market.
Ahead of its launch, Motorola has posted a teaser for the upcoming Motorola Edge S30 Transformer Edition smartphone on its website. In addition, various news outlets have even published several alleged renderings of this device, which features an exclusive Transformer-style design that comes with Autobot’s branding logos engraved on the back of the phone.
Beyond the cosmetic changes, however, this device is expected to have pretty much the same specs as the standard models, which are reported to represent a rebranding of the recently announced Moto G200 smartphone.
To summarize, the Motorola Moto G200 features a large 6.8-inch LCD with a sharp FHD + screen resolution, super-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 certification and supports DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
In terms of the front view, the Moto G200 uses a triple camera on the back, consisting of a 108 megapixel main camera, a 13 megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, they will be provided with a 16 megapixel front camera.
Under the hood, the Motorola Moto G200 is powered by an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset along with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, as well as 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options.
To keep it from catching fire, the Moto G200 is equipped with a respectable 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Apart from this, it also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
