On October 2, 2024, BIGHIT MUSIC revealed that fans attending the premiere of BTS’ Kim Namjoon’s documentary film, RM: Right People, Wrong Place, will receive a special gift.
This highly anticipated documentary is set to premiere at the 29th BUSAN International Film Festival (BIFF) on October 7, 2024. It will be showcased in BIFF’s Open Cinema Section at the outdoor theatre of Haeunde-gu Film Archive.
Although Namjoon, known by his stage name RM, will not be attending the movie screening, he has decided to surprise attendees with an exclusive postcard set featuring never-before-seen moments from the film’s production. This exciting news rapidly spread across social media, with fans sharing their excitement on X.
Fans who are unable to attend the BIFF premiere have expressed their enthusiasm to see the documentary in theaters when it is released globally. One fan praised RM after BIGHIT MUSIC shared a preview of the exclusive photocard set, stating:
“The most beautiful leader”
The BTS ARMY was thrilled by a striking photo of a shirtless Namjoon swimming in a lake included in the postcard set. Many fans pointed out that this imagery symbolizes the idol’s “rebirth,”which resonates with the themes in his solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, focused on shedding old beliefs.
“I hope this postcard set will be distributed when it hits movie theatres worldwide too!!! I need the one of Joon looking peaceful in the ocean… for many reasons,”one fan wrote on X.
“THE POSTCARD OF NAM IN THE WATER? ???? OH COME ON,”another fan exclaimed.
“Namjoon looks free in this picture. With what we know about RPWP, this image evokes feelings of freedom and rebirth. The symbolism of being naked in the water, along with his serene smile and closed eyes, captures a moment of bliss,”another fan remarked.
Moreover, fans expressed their immense pride in the BTS leader as his documentary film is set to premiere at the 2024 BIFF.
“The immense pride and pleasure I feel that RM’s documentary is being showcased at the Busan Film Festival!!! This is huge!!!”one fan expressed.
“Right person, wrong place here…who else? Oh my, Joon looks so fine, so free, so serene and genuinely happy here…hope he was able to somehow conserve that feeling,”another fan wrote.
“I wish I could be at the premiere, but I can’t wait to see this in theaters,”another fan added.
