“More than ready” – Thai legend Nong-O links up with former rival and icon Saenchai in preparation for ONE Friday Fights 58

In order to regain his winning streak, Nong-O Hama has joined forces with his former opponent and fellow Muay Thai icon Saenchai to assist him in training for his upcoming fight on April 5.

On Friday, the ex-ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion will attempt to break a two-fight losing streak where he suffered consecutive brutal knockouts from Jonathan Haggerty and Nico Carrillo.

Returning to the renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium for a highly anticipated ONE Friday Fights 58 event, the Thai fighter will face off against his fellow countryman Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai, who is currently on a winning streak.

“More than ready,”Nong-O wrote on Instagram. “The 3 months of practice were the most fun. Thank you to the trainer team. and all boxing teachers. See you this Friday.”

Prior to his recent difficulties, Nong-O had an impressive winning streak of 10 fights, defeating notable opponents such as Saemapetch Fairtex, Rodlek PK Saenchai, Felipe Lobo, and UK crowd-pleaser Liam Harrison.

To recreate those triumphant moments, the ex-ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion will need to end Kulabdam’s winning streak, a challenge that is far from simple.

The Ultimate Showdown: Kulabdam vs. Nong-O Hama at ONE Friday Fights 58

Kulabdam, a two-time Lumpinee Stadium champion, stands in the way of Nong-O Hama’s much-needed victory. He returns to the Mecca of Muay Thai after remaining undefeated in his last five fights. With a record of 7-3 under the ONE banner, ‘Left Meteorite’ has showcased his strength in his past three bouts, knocking out Tyson Harrison, Fariyar Aminipour, and Julio Lobo in the first round.

At the age of 25, Kulabdam had already accumulated an impressive total of 70 career wins. Despite this, he will undoubtedly face a significant experience gap against Nong-O, who boasts an astonishing 265 career wins and has competed in well over 300 fights.

Despite Nong-O being 37 years old, which is 12 years older than his opponent Kulabdam, he will still have the advantage of age in the bout.

Will it be experience or youth that ultimately determines the outcome at ONE Friday Fights 58? Don’t miss out on finding out this Friday, April 5, as the entire card will be available for live streaming on watch.onefc.com for audiences around the globe.
