Recent Update for Monster Hunter Wilds: Story Blocker Not Resolved
Following the acknowledgment of the bug by Capcom, a patch was released shortly thereafter for the PC version of Monster Hunter Wilds. Identified as version 1.000.03.00, this update does not rectify the Chapter 5-2 story blocker but addresses a separate issue concerning excessive tutorial prompts that obstruct menu functionalities within the Smithy. While this particular patch targets PC users, it raises concerns that the story-blocking glitch could also extend to console players.
Despite facing critique from players regarding various technical glitches, Monster Hunter Wilds has nonetheless demonstrated remarkable success. On March 1, the game achieved a peak of over 1.384 million concurrent players on Steam, placing it as the fifth most popular title on the platform based on this metric.
