In response to recent technical issues with the PlayStation Network, Capcom has decided to extend the second open beta test for Monster Hunter Wilds scheduled for February 2025. Originally, this session was meant to conclude on February 16, 2025; however, it will now last an additional day, ending on February 17, 2025. Capcom has also released an updated infographic detailing the beta changes. Notably, players can now enjoy crossplay functionality without needing Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus, enhancing accessibility across platforms.
Character Progression Carryover
Players who create a character during this beta will retain their design for the final game. All you need to do is set up your avatar within the beta, save your progress, and play briefly. However, it’s important to note that design codes created during the beta phase will not transfer to the full version of the game.
