Hunting Congas in Scarlet Forest

One of the main sources for Colossal Bones can be found on Congas, small ape-like creatures that inhabit the Scarlet Forest. Players have a 50% chance of securing a Colossal Bone from their carcasses. To locate these monsters easily, players can utilize the Filter Icons feature as follows:

  1. Fast travel to the Scarlet Forest using the World Map.
  2. Open the local map for navigation.
  3. Select the Filter Icons feature located in the bottom-left corner.
  4. Navigate to the Small Monsters category.
  5. Select the Conga option and choose “Set Highlight”to mark all Congas with blue dots on the map.
  6. Hover over a highlighted Conga and press the “Set Waypoint”button shown at the bottom of the screen.
  7. Activate Seikret’s Auto-move Mode for effortless travel to your waypoint.
  8. Eliminate the Conga upon arrival and carve its remains to acquire a potential Colossal Bone.
  9. Repeat Steps 6-8 to gather more Colossal Bones from additional Congas.

If you find yourself struggling to locate any Congas, keep an eye out for Congalas, the larger counterpart to Congas. These larger monsters frequently appear in proximity to Congas. A wise tactic to track Congalas is to access the Forest’s local map, select the “Environment Overview”option at the bottom of the screen, and navigate to the “Forecast”tab to check their availability.

  5. Select the Blango entry and click “Set Highlight”to mark all Blangos on the map with blue dots.
  6. Hover over a highlighted Blango, then press the “Set Waypoint”indicated at the bottom of the screen.
  7. Enable Seikret’s Auto-move Mode for fast travel to the waypoint.
  8. Once there, defeat the Blango and carve it for a chance to obtain a Colossal Bone.
  9. Repeat Steps 6-8 to systematically gather more Colossal Bones from other Blangos nearby.

As with the Congas, Blangos also have a larger counterpart known as Blangonga. Should you encounter difficulty finding Blangos, consider targeting Blangonga instead, as it often attracts Blangos in its vicinity.
