Upcoming Event Quest in Monster Hunter Wilds: Get Your Faux Felyne Headgear!
Capcom has exciting news for fans of Monster Hunter Wilds! They have officially announced a new Event Quest dubbed “Three Tails Better Than None.” This event will allow players to craft unique Faux Felyne headgear inspired by the beloved Palico companions. Mark your calendars—this exclusive quest will be accessible from June 3 to June 17, 2025.
How to Participate in “Three Tails Better Than None”
To engage in this special quest, hunters need to be at least Hunter Rank (HR) 16. Ensure you’ve progressed through the campaign and are ready for the adventure that awaits. The quest will take you to a region called Wounded Hollow, where you’ll be tasked with defeating three Quematrice within a specified time limit. Given that this monster is encountered early in the game and is rated at a four-star difficulty level, many players will find this challenge quite manageable.
Crafting Your Faux Felyne α Headgear
Upon completing the quest, you will receive the materials necessary to create the coveted Faux Felyne α headgear at Gemma. This unique piece of gear will transform your hunter into a Palico, resembling the adorable feline companions that players adore. While Capcom has not specified how many times the quest must be completed to gather enough materials for this crafting adventure, they did share a sneak peek of the headgear, featuring a classic Siamese cat design complete with striking blue eyes.
Two Additional Event Quests Launching Concurrently
In addition to “Three Tails Better Than None, ” two other challenging Event Quests will kick off simultaneously. However, these will not reward players with special cosmetic items. Both quests are rated five-star difficulty and require an HR of 21:
- Anguish and Atrocity: A Guardian Doshaguma quest located at the Ruins of Wyveria, offering Hunter Rank Points.
- Tongue-Tied: A Tempered Chatacabra hunt set in Windward Plains, rewarding Advanced Armor Spheres and Hard Armor Spheres.
