Utilizing SOS Flare Mechanics

The easiest method to challenge high-rank Zoh Shia is by utilizing the SOS Flare system. To join a hunt, simply talk to Alma, select the SOS Flare Quests tab from the Quests menu, and choose Zoh Shia as your target. You’ll likely find numerous quests open for participation; however, keep in mind that these quests can fill up rapidly, so act swiftly!

Unlocking Zoh Shia Investigations

Another effective approach to face high-rank Zoh Shia after your initial victory is by unlocking Zoh Shia Investigations. This process is straightforward, provided you know where to look. Zoh Shia can primarily be found in the Ruins of Wyveria during the Inclemency season. To initiate an Investigation, head to the Ruins of Wyveria, enter your tent, and switch the season to Inclemency. Repeat this process until Zoh Shia makes its appearance; in-game notifications will alert you when it does, similar to other apex predators like Jin Dahaad and Rey Dau. Once Zoh Shia is available, you can save the newly created hunting quest as an Investigation, which can be replayed up to three times. Should you require more parts, simply repeat the steps to have Zoh Shia reappear.
