Intel Alder Lake Mobile Processors Coming Up – Manufacturer Brags It Milestone

The next generation of Intel processors is a small revolution in the PC market. The systems use a hybrid architecture that uses the efficient P-Core and the energy-efficient E-Core, a combination that delivers very good performance as tested on the Core i9-12900K and Core i5-12600K models.

After the premiere of desktop models, many of you are probably waiting for the appearance of laptops with such units. We have good news.

Intel begins shipping mobile Alder Lake processors

Gregory M. Bryant, executive vice president and general manager of the Intel Client Computing Group, recently bragged on social media that he reached another milestone with the release of 12th Gen Core processors.

Bryant said Intel has begun shipping high-end laptop processors to its customers – likely Alder Lake-P models that will be used in top gaming projects and mobile workstations.

In addition to versions for desktops and powerful laptops, the manufacturer is also planning models for compact laptops.

What do we know about processors? The devices will offer a maximum of 14 cores / 20 threads (6/12 P-Core + 8/8 E-Core). In addition, we can expect support for DDR4 / DDR5 memory, PCI-Express 5.0 support and Intel Xe integrated graphics (up to 96 EU units).

So far, it is known from leaks that the manufacturer plans to include three models of Alder Lake-P: Core i9-12900HK (with overclocking function), Core i7-12800H and Core i7-12700H.

It is unofficially known that the first laptops with new processors will debut early next year. We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to check them out.
