The former B-Team member has gained recognition for his smooth submissions against top-tier grapplers in the industry, including Shamil Shikhshabekov and Kyle Chambers.
With a track record of consistently winning gold in top-level jiu-jitsu competitions, Michell’s ultimate goal is to claim the title of welterweight submission grappling champion of the world.
Expect a Brutal Battle Between Tye Ruotolo and Izaak Michell at OFN21
Tye Ruotolo, the reigning welterweight submission grappling world champion, anticipates that Izaak Michell will rely on his physical strength in an attempt to dethrone him.
Tye, who is considered one of the most physically gifted athletes of his generation, is excited to face an equally aggressive opponent from Australia in their upcoming battle on Friday. This opportunity allows him to showcase his skills and fuels his determination for the fight.
