Mistfall Hunter: A Dark Fantasy Adventure Awaits
Fans of dark fantasy games have a thrilling new title to anticipate: Mistfall Hunter, an extraction action RPG that combines PvPvE elements. First unveiled during the Xbox Partner Preview event in October 2023, the game is gearing up for its second closed beta test on Steam.
Upcoming Beta Test Details
The developer, Bellring Games, has confirmed that the second Closed Beta Test (CBT) will kick off on April 22, 2025, at 01:00 UTC. This phase will introduce players to a multitude of new content and features designed to enhance the gaming experience.
Introducing the Reverent Seer Class
A notable addition is the Reverent Seer class, which empowers players with the ability to attack using Catalysts and cast supportive spells. This class marks an exciting new direction, introducing support capabilities for the first time in Mistfall Hunter. Players can summon Rune Pillars that provide healing, shields, and stealth options, along with offensive runes capable of attacking, blinding, or binding enemies. Additionally, this class features a unique spell that prevents death, offering strategic advantages when executed at critical moments.
Exploring New Regions and Layouts
The upcoming CBT will also unveil a vast new area located to the north of Brandrgarde. Once the bustling workshop of Master Smith Vronn, the Forge now lays desolate, dominated by the Corroded and their ceaseless furnace fires. To better accommodate the expanded game world, the developers have split the fortress into two distinct maps, allowing players to be randomly placed in either location during gameplay sessions.

New Gameplay Modes and Monsters
Mistfall Hunter is also introducing a Solo Mode, where players can navigate the same intricate maps but will encounter a revised monster placement suited for solo play rather than the Trio Mode. New enemies, including the Warden, Prison Guard, Nightwatcher, and Penitent, will challenge players as they strive to survive and conquer.
Upgrading Your Camp Features
As players gather resources, they will have the opportunity to upgrade various features within their camps. Enhancements will offer benefits such as increased healing from the Springhorn, expanded Warehouse capacity, and higher Gylden Jar limits. Notably, the Warehouse has evolved into an account-shared storage system, facilitating smoother gameplay for those experimenting with multiple classes.
Anticipated Launch and Platforms
While a definitive release date for Mistfall Hunter is yet to be announced, it is expected to launch later this year on both PC and Xbox Series S|X, promising an immersive experience for dark fantasy enthusiasts.
