The Minisforum V3 3-in-1 tablet has been generating buzz for some time now, as it boasts the unique feature of being the first design to incorporate an AMD Ryzen 8040 “Hawk Point”APU. Minisforum not only unveiled its V3 tablet, but also revealed a range of new products under its recently launched sub-brand, AtomMan. This sub-brand will specialize in producing premium mini PCs equipped with NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD components, with the first items available for pre-order on May 20th.
The UM890WE is one of the newly announced products, a high-end Mini PC featuring the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS APU. This powerful chip boasts 8 cores, 16 threads, and clock speeds up to 5.2 GHz, with 16 MB of L3 and 8 MB of L2 cache, all while maintaining a TDP of 45W (35-54W cTDP). Additionally, it is equipped with the Radeon 780M iGPU, which includes 12 compute units running at 2800 MHz. What sets this PC apart is its water-cooled system and compact 3.5L chassis.
This computer can accommodate up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 memory and features 2 M.2 Gen4 SSDs, as well as a variety of I/O options such as 4 USB 3.2 Type-A ports, 2 USB4 ports with speeds of 40 Gbps, HDMI 2.1, DP1.4 ports, an OCULINK port, and 2 2.5GbE LAN ports.

This powerful system boasts a full AMD design, equipped with the 16-core Ryzen 9 7945HX CPU and a Radeon 7600M XT Mobility discrete GPU utilizing the RDNA 3 graphics architecture. It is also compliant with the AMD Advantage ecosystem and offers support for DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen5 SSDs.
During their presentation, AMD highlighted the HX200G Mini PC, which boasts a 200% increase in multi-threaded performance compared to the Ryzen 9 8945HS machines. This improvement is achieved through its doubled core and thread count. Additionally, the Radeon RX 7600M XT GPU offers a 26% performance boost over the previous designs, which featured the Radeon RX 6600M as the discrete GPU choice.
Minisforum’s HX200G now features the innovative Cold Wave Extreme cooling solution, providing a maximum cooling capacity of 205W. This is made possible by an 8-heatpipe configuration and the use of liquid-metal thermal interface material for both the CPU and GPU. Pre-orders for this advanced system will begin on May 20th.
The AtomMan HN149 Gaming Mini PC features an Intel Core i9-14900HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card.
Minisforum is expanding its product line to include the AtomMan HN149 Gaming Mini PC, following the success of its previous NUCX models released a few years ago. This sleek Mini PC, designed in a vertical style, boasts a similar design and high-performance components such as the Intel Core i9-14900HX 24-core CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU with a power rating of 170W. The slim chassis features dual cooling fans, along with 5 copper heat pipes, providing a cooling capacity of up to 180W. Additionally, the Mini PC includes RGB lighting for added visual appeal.
Additional features consist of the ability to accommodate 96 GB of DDR5-5600 memory, two Gen4 SSDs with a maximum capacity of 4 TB each, and a variety of I/O ports such as a 1 GbE LAN port, 1 USB4, three USB 3.2 ports, an SD card reader, HDMI 2.1, and an audio jack. Built-in wireless connectivity is also provided through Intel’s BE200 controller, allowing for WIFI7 capabilities.
The HN149 Mini PC, measuring 396.5×236.4×32.5mm, includes a 280W power adapter and features a dedicated switch for easy switching between office and gaming modes. Minisforum has announced a pre-order date of 20th May for this product.
The AtomMan Atom UH185 boasts an Intel Core Ultra CPU and a unique LCD twist.
Finally, the UH185 Ultra was introduced by Minisforum as their first AI Mini PC under the AtomMan brand. Powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU, this PC boasts 16 cores, 22 threads, a maximum boost clock of 5.1 GHz, 24 MB cache, and a TDP of 45W base and up to 115W (MTP). It also includes Intel Arc Graphics with 8 Xe Cores running at 2350 MHz.
The PC is capable of supporting up to 96 GB of DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM and two Gen4 SSDs (2230+2280). Real-time statistics can be monitored on the 4-inch LCD screen on the front, and the device is fully compatible with the Windows Hello voice assistant. Additionally, the UH185 model includes an OCULINK port for expanding graphics capabilities. Furthermore, the PC has two 5 GbE LAN ports and WIFI 7 support, providing excellent networking capabilities.
