Minecraft Unveils New Eyeblossom and Resin Features in Pale Garden Update

Minecraft has revealed exciting new additions to the Pale Garden biome: eyeblossom and resin. As part of the anticipated Winter Drop, eyeblossom and resin are being integrated into the Pale Garden biome. This chilling arena is gaining popularity among players for its unique design and haunting ambiance.

Eyeblossoms are distinct flowers that thrive exclusively in the Pale Garden. They exhibit a behavioral pattern influenced by the day/night cycle in the game. During daylight, these flowers appear grey and remain closed, but with the arrival of night, they blossom into a radiant orange hue.

These subtly glowing flowers provide guidance through the dense, lifeless landscapes dominated by the Pale Oak trees. As one eyeblossom blooms, it encourages nearby blossoms to do the same, akin to a hive-like phenomenon. However, it’s crucial to understand that the glow from these flowers is weak and should not be depended upon as a light source, nor can it deter the lurking creaking creatures.

Despite being harmful to bees and a toxic ingredient in suspicious stew, eyeblossoms can be processed to create dyes. These dyes can serve various purposes, including crafting banners or changing the colors of items in the new Bundles of Bravery drop.

Resin

Resin, another new block introduced in the Pale Garden, can be harvested from the Pale Oak trees and acquired only by damaging a creaking. It appears in small clumps and can further be transformed into other materials.

This unique item is exclusive to the Pale Garden biome, mirroring the eyeblossom in its rarity and intrigue. Players can craft resin clumps into solid resin blocks, which are useful for creating resin bricks or decorative armor trims.

The items eyeblossom and resin can be found exclusively within the Pale Garden biome. They do not spawn in any other location in the game. Adventurers can either wander through their worlds or utilize specific Minecraft seeds to discover this biome more easily.

To collect eyeblossoms, players must harvest them from the ground. Be mindful that the flowers’ state and appearance change in accordance with the day/night cycle—collecting during daylight yields a closed version, while nighttime harvesting produces a fully bloomed flower.

Regarding resin, you must engage and damage a creaking in the Pale Garden to collect it. After attacking a creaking, resin clumps will appear around its Creaking Heart. Follow the orange glow leading to the heart, then mine the surrounding Pale Oak wood blocks to gather resin.
