Some of these leaks indicate that the developers plan to add a new biome and an intriguing mob referred to as the “Creaking.” A recent tweet from the official Minecraft account, along with a TikTok video, hints at what could be the next mob in the game.

Minecraft Teases a New Mob

Mojang Studios shared an image displaying an evidence board via the official X account for Minecraft. The board was filled with classified documents to enhance the mystery. However, the focal point was a photo located at the center of the board, showcasing three pixels emitting a reddish-orange glow in the dark.

Interestingly, this image was sourced from a TikTok post shared by the official Minecraft account. The post’s caption read, “Don’t look away…or else.” This could hint at how the Creaking mob may interact with players—possibly requiring players to keep the mob in view to avoid an attack.

Returning to the X post, the image caption humorously speculated on what the new update could introduce to the game. Many users shared creative ideas regarding the mob’s implementation. For instance, X user u/CloudFuel proposed that Mojang Studios should make the portal in the Ancient Cities usable, leading players to a new dimension featuring the mysterious hostile mob.

Recently, the official Minecraft Live website inadvertently leaked information about the upcoming mob on their page. The leak claimed that the event would showcase the first glimpse of the “pale garden” along with the hostile mob known as “creaking.” When sharp-eyed fans noticed this slip-up, the webpage was promptly removed and replaced with a corrected version devoid of any mention of the pale garden or the Creaking mob.

Minecraft Live is slated for September 28. Recently, Mojang Studios announced significant alterations in their update approach. The Mob Vote has now been retired, allowing developers to concentrate on providing smaller but more frequent updates to keep the game content engaging.
