The recent Minecraft Live event showcased a treasure trove of thrilling features and content set to arrive in the game shortly. Officially named the “Bundles of Bravery” update, developers are finally introducing bundles to the beloved blocky universe. Additionally, after much anticipation, Hardcore mode will be available for the Bedrock Edition. However, the spotlight truly belongs to the forthcoming Pale Garden biome and the menacing Creaking mob.
The Pale Garden and the Creaking mob are slated to join Minecraft in an upcoming update. While an exact release date has not yet been disclosed, historical patterns suggest that players won’t have to wait long to engage with these new features.
Minecraft enthusiasts will soon be able to explore the Pale Garden biome and confront the Creaking
During the MC Live presentation, developers revealed a new biome named the Pale Garden. This muted biome will be situated in the overworld, as Mojang Studios aims to elevate the game’s creepiness with the introduction of the hostile mob known as the Creaking.
At the conclusion of the MC Live events, it was noted that both the Creaking mob and the Pale Garden are set to appear in Snapshots, Previews & Betas shortly. These experimental updates allow players to download and experience upcoming features ahead of their full release.
Reflecting on previous announcements, new features have often been rolled out swiftly. For instance, during last year’s Minecraft Live event on October 16, the developers unveiled several enhancements, with the Java Edition 23w42a Snapshot launching just two days later on October 18, adding experimental content to the game.
Given the significance of the Creaking mob and the Pale Garden biome as major additions, it’s possible that Mojang Studios may take longer than just two days to implement these features. Nevertheless, fans should anticipate the opportunity to explore them within a week.
Additional announcements at the event
In addition to the new gameplay features, Mojang Studios shared details about an upcoming live-action Minecraft movie. Director Jared Hess elaborated on the decision to pursue a live-action format rather than animation, and attendees were treated to a sneak peek of a new scene from the film. The Minecraft Movie is set to hit theaters on April 4, 2025.
