The 2024 Live event for Minecraft was unintentionally revealed just days ago on the official website, spilling the beans on what Mojang Studios plans to introduce in the upcoming update or “game drop.”A noteworthy feature that surfaced during this leak was a new biome named Pale Gardens. Although details were sparse, developers have since teased several exciting aspects about it.
Here’s everything we currently know about the upcoming Pale Garden biome in Minecraft.
Details About Minecraft’s New Biome: Pale Gardens
How Was the Pale Gardens Biome Leaked?
Following the announcement from Mojang Studios about their next live event set for September 28, anticipation grew within the community. However, the team managing the game’s website inadvertently altered the event page. Sections intended for post-event content were prematurely updated.
This updated webpage inadvertently included a variety of details about the forthcoming update and its features, which the developers had not officially shared yet, as they were meant to be revealed after the event.
Although the information regarding the new game drop was quickly taken down, the details can still be accessed via an archived page at the following URL:

The name of the new biome, Pale Gardens, was part of this unexpected leak.
What Mojang Studios Teased about the Pale Gardens Biome
Following the accidental leak of new features, developers shared a humorous image showcasing a conspiracy chart, featuring a character attempting to decode the potential appearance and characteristics of the new biome and mob. In this lighthearted image posted on their official social media channels, various wood types available in the game were displayed with red crosses marked on them.
Notably, a selection of white wood blocks remained untouched by the red crosses, which included pale wood, planks, and even leaves, all appearing desaturated.
This teasing imagery aligns perfectly with the newly leaked name, complimenting the concept of a pale wood block set.
Although it remains uncertain in which realm the Pale Gardens biome will be located, many players speculate that it could be introduced as a new biome within the End realm. If confirmed, this pale wood set would mark the first wood type of that dimension.
