A player on Reddit, known as u/kvadratkub054, shared an intriguing piece of concept art depicting a crocodile mob on the Minecraft subreddit. This image references a mob vote held by Mojang in 2018 for the game’s Chinese version, where the alligator was one of the contenders. Although this design is not official, it effectively illustrates the potential appeal of including a crocodile mob in the game.

The featured design adheres to Mojang Studios’ recent developments, where players do not need to kill animal mobs for resources. Currently, this biome lacks variety, even after the introduction of the bogged mob. Another user, u/ClearSmile700, also showcased their excitement for the crocodile mob concept.

User u/Hazearil inquired about the purpose of the reptilian helmet depicted in the concept. The art suggested that crocodile scutes could be combined with turtle scutes to create this helmet. Meanwhile, user u/Fuzzy_Huckleberry proposed that the reptilian helmet might serve as a more robust alternative to the turtle shell helmet.

Considering that the turtle shell helmet provides durability on par with an iron helmet, the reptilian helmet would be comparable to a diamond helmet. User u/Aura_103 suggested that this helmet could also possess passive thorns effect.

New Mobs in Minecraft

The Creaking offers a compelling gameplay experience. It emerges during the night, and players can defeat it only by destroying the Creaking Heart as regular attacks will have no effect. Notably, the Creaking remains still when players are looking at it, adding a strategic element to its capture.
