Minecraft Creaking and Pale Garden Launch in Bedrock Beta and Preview Version

Mojang has officially rolled out the Minecraft Bedrock beta and preview, allowing players on the Bedrock edition to explore the features of the Pale Garden. Gamers can now preview this spooky overworld biome ahead of its official winter release.

This preview not only showcases the Pale Garden but also implements various changes to gameplay and introduces new features, including adjustments to the creaking mob and the biome itself.

Major Updates in Minecraft Bedrock Preview 1.21.50.20

The Bedrock Preview 1.21.50.20 comes packed with extensive updates, primarily revolving around the impending Pale Garden winter expansion. Significant gameplay enhancements and alterations to various features in the new biome have been implemented.

A key update pertains to the creaking mob. Under the new mechanics, the creaking will remain stationary if a player is facing it. Furthermore, this elusive creature is immune to damage, making the only method of neutralization to eliminate its creaking heart. Notably, its spawns and despawns are now guided by the day/night cycle rather than light levels.

Additionally, the creaking heart has undergone modifications; it becomes active at night and deactivates during the day. If players incur damage from the creaking, a trail will be left by the corresponding creaking heart, guiding them toward its destruction. The creaking heart has also been enhanced with new sound effects to enrich the game’s atmosphere.

The update also makes significant enhancements to the overall ambiance of the Pale Garden. New atmospheric sounds have been added to the Pale Hanging Moss, enhancing the eerie vibe of this dark forest biome.

Moreover, players can look forward to several new items as part of the Pale Oak wood set. Updates include the addition of doors, fences, planks, stairs, and more reflecting the unique aesthetics of this new wood. Existing blocks such as bamboo and dragon eggs have also seen improvements in their interaction and behavior.
