Minecraft Community Reacts: Warden Faces Off Against New Creaking Mob in Epic Showdown

Minecraft is set to introduce a new hostile mob known as the Creaking, along with a brand-new biome called the Pale Garden. These features are part of the forthcoming update, and Mojang Studios has included them in snapshot 24w40a as an experimental addition. Consequently, players are already delving into the characteristics of the new mob.

A Minecraft enthusiast, u/KBerkay, shared a post on Reddit showcasing a battle between two of the most formidable mobs in the game on the title’s subreddit. The video illustrates what happens when the Warden, recognized as the most powerful mob, confronts the Creaking from the experimental update. Surprisingly, the Creaking sustains no damage during this encounter.

Following the video, u/Sim_Sam1 humorously remarked on the conflict by comparing the Warden to a “Soyjack” character, while labeling the Creaking as the “Chad” figure. This is a meme reference that highlights how the Warden continuously attacked the Creaking with no effect.

Another user, Lino_T01, suggested that this video provides insights into creating an efficient Warden farm. They noted, however, that developing a Warden farm could be less useful since the mob does not drop significant loot upon defeat; players seemed more interested in avenging their past encounters.

User u/wild_skeptic humorously pointed out the absurdity of pitting a mob that inflicts 22.5 hearts of damage per hit against an immovable entity that cannot be affected.

Another Redditor, KingMGold, expressed confusion over why the Warden would attack the Creaking, which does not move and resembles a tree.

Moreover, u/BLUFALCON77 proposed an intriguing tactic: bringing the Creaking to an ancient city, allowing the Warden to become preoccupied with it.

The only way to defeat the Creaking is by destroying its heart, known as the Creaking Heart, which also serves as a means to spawn this hostile mob anywhere in the Minecraft world.

Mojang Studios has recently announced the Bundles of Bravery update, which introduces the long-anticipated bundles to the game, as well as a Hardcore Mode for the Bedrock Edition. However, the highlight for many players is the impending Pale Garden biome, the introduction of the Creaking mob, and several new items.

In the recent snapshot labeled 24w40a, developers showcased the experimental update incorporating all features disclosed during Minecraft Live. Currently, this update is available for the Java Edition and will soon be rolled out for the Bedrock Edition. Besides the Creaking and the Pale Garden, the experimental update also features pale oak wood and hanging moss.
