Not all browsers currently support the new April Fools feature, so it is important to keep in mind that you may need to access the website on alternative browsers. Currently, the feature is functioning on both Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

Steps to Experience the April Fools Feature on Minecraft’s Official Website

Upon loading the homepage of the website, a health bar will be visible in the center and several poisonous potatoes of varying sizes will be spread throughout the page. To consume the potatoes, simply click on them. As a potato is ingested, the health bar will begin to decrease and change color to yellow-green.

You can discover additional toxic potatoes by browsing through the homepage. Once a sufficient amount of these poisonous potatoes have been ingested, the website will show Minecraft’s death screen accompanied by the ghost of an Elder Guardian.

The message displayed upon death will be:

“You awoke the Toxifin. “

The displayed score below the message will be randomly generated, and clicking the respawn button will refresh the page, restoring users’ health to full.

Players have the option to disable the April Fools feature by clicking on a button located on the left-hand side of the website, allowing them to have a standard browsing experience.
