Microsoft’s Upcoming Windows 11 Version 25H2: Insights and Challenges
Although Microsoft has yet to officially announce it, recent developments within the Canary channel builds suggest that the testing phase for Windows 11 version 25H2 could be underway or imminent. While many anticipated a build release last week, the company clarified through its Windows Insider Program’s X (Twitter) account that this was not the case.
Brandon LeBlanc, a Senior Program Manager for the Windows Insider Program, provided further insight into the situation following the delay. He expressed his apologies for the hold-up and attributed it to a significant bug that has emerged, impacting the overall stability of the system.
We tried really hard with Canary, but this new bug is really bad. I know this is disappointing. I am currently re-imaging a PC now to validate the fix for Canary for next week’s flight though.https://t.co/Y7zWGB3EOV

Details on the Bug Impacting Windows 11
The severity of the bug has raised concerns within the community, especially regarding its broad impact on various functionalities. According to LeBlanc, the issue affects essential components of the operating system, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity, USB accessory compatibility, and even the onboard camera, which is critical for features like Windows Hello.
It’s hard to describe in a post but it impacts functionality across the OS ranging from Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to connecting USB accessories and even your onboard camera (which impacts Windows Hello on PCs too).

Clarification on Build Releases
Users speculated whether this issue was affecting currently available builds. LeBlanc reassured the community that this specific bug stems from code changes introduced in unreleased builds. He confirmed that those on current versions should not be experiencing these problems.
It is a specific bug that is impacting builds we have not released to Windows Insiders based on a code change we made in newer builds, so you wouldn’t be experiencing this specific bug. This issue is completely unrelated to AMD GPU/chipset drivers.
