Microsoft Windows 11 24H2 Camera Issues Lead to App Freezes

The newly released Windows 11 version 24H2 comes with a significant number of known issues, and Microsoft has confirmed even more recently. Currently, there are no workarounds available, which means that affected users must either revert to Windows 11 version 23H2 (or earlier) or patiently wait for a patch from Microsoft. Users running previous versions of Windows 11 and Windows 10 will not receive the 24H2 update via Windows Update, and Microsoft advises against trying to force the update manually.
