Microsoft may have confirmed that Build 22621 is the Windows 11 22H2 (SV2) RTM release.

At the beginning of the month, reports started circulating that Windows 11 22H2 (Sun Valley 2) was ready for RTM (Release to Manufacturing), and these reports suggested that this would happen in May itself, although some other sources reported it. could happen in a month in June.

However, Zach Bowden of Windows Central seems pretty confident that the most recent beta channel build 22621 is the one that will be the final Windows 11 22H2 GA build later this year. Bowden also adds that Microsoft will sign it on May 20, which is a week later.

Interestingly, Microsoft Senior Program Manager Brandon LeBlanc responded to one of the comments on Bowden’s Twitter post and offered no rebuttal to the rumor, pointing out that there’s a good chance it’s actually true.

As for the Windows 11 Dev channel, Microsoft has moved to Windows 11 Sun Valley 3 already with build 25115, which further suggests that everything is ready for the transition to 22H2.
