Microsoft Confirms Visual Studio, .NET Not Working for Windows 11 Insiders, Fix

For several days now, Windows 11 Insiders developing with Visual Studio 2022 have been complaining about severe performance issues. According to user reports, some of the latest Windows 11 Insider builds are affected, including build 22H2 RTM 22621. However, the issues are not exclusive to Visual Studio and all based applications are affected. NET like Blazor, JetBrains Rider and others. Report it looks like there is high CPU usage in the 90-100% range causing the whole system to slow down making applications unusable.

However, Microsoft is aware of the issues and has confirmed that the issue is related to the Windows 11 beta testing channel.

The company has provided a temporary workaround for moving to the Release Preview channel. However, this is probably not necessary as the patch has already been rolled out and will be released soon.
