Microsoft Is So Ready To Release Windows 11 22H2 As ISO Links Have Been Found

While we knew from earlier reports that the 22H2 feature update for Windows 11 would be released sometime after September 5th, more recent reports have been able to provide a specific date. According to such reports, the release is scheduled for September 20, that is, tomorrow.

We have also had more recent indications that this is indeed happening. A few days ago, a user claimed to have received a new Dell laptop with Windows 11 22H2 inside. Apparently, the device was running Windows 11 build 22621.521 (KB5017321). It was also rumored that build 22621.382 was to be packaged as a GA release. Therefore, it is possible that some other devices will ship with this earlier build instead of build 521.

With the release a day or so later, this time there were more pointers in the form of ISOs that were sent to the servers. There are currently two ISO download links available on the TechBench dump website:

Windows 11 22H2 ISO Leaked

This means that it shouldn’t be too long before the 22H2 download links become active and users with compatible PCs can upgrade. If your system meets the system requirements for Windows 11 21H2, then 22H2 is also supported.
